Systems Pass Federal Testing Standards.
At Vizualogic, safety has always been a priority. Our quality Headrest
Video products have always been a first line of defense to reduce
the stress of family trips. Recently completed safety tests confirm
why Vizualogic continues to be the headrest video manufacturer
of choice, by adding peace of mind to mobile entertainment.
Vizualogic received passing grades on six key safety performance requirements in conformance with applicable Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) established by the United States Department of Transportation:
FMVSS 201 – Vizualogic headrest monitors show optimal impact protection
for vehicle occupants at specific headrest heights and seat spacings.
In addition, polyester film coatings applied to Vizualogic monitors
maintain integrity during impact.
FMVSS 202 – Static load testing on hollow core post assemblies shows Vizualogic headrest monitor systems
pass DOT standards for seating integrity.
FMVSS 207 – Establishes requirements for the strength of
the seats, their anchors and Head Restraint characteristics.
FMVSS 210 – This standard establishes requirements for seats,
their attachment assemblies, and their installation to minimize
the possibility of failure as a
result of vehicle impact.
FMVSS 302 – Flammability testing of Vizualogic headrest assemblies
and component materials proved that Vizualogic products meet DOT
safety standards for burn resistance of materials used in the occupant
compartments of motor vehicles.
ECE R21 – The ECE (UNECE) is the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe
which specifies regulations for uniform minimum standards in its member
countries. The ECE R21 standard establishes requirements for vehicles in
regard to their interior fittings for head impact testing.
The tests were conducted by one of the leading independent laboratories
performing Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards and related testing
for the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
These results set Vizualogic and its dealers apart
from the competition.
